Package Specifics…No Substitutions. Client may upgrade to a higher priced species by just paying the difference in trophy fees. Off package or additional species may be taken for the listed trophy fees. Package prices are inclusive of daily rates and trophy fees for the species indicated. NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND ON PACKAGES!
~ All prices quoted in US dollars.
~ $1000 non-refundable deposit required to hold reservation. In the event of emergency, client may reschedule hunt for the following year with deposit applied.
~ Daily Rate/Trophy Fee Hunts…balance of daily rates will be paid in full prior to commencement of safari. Trophy fees will be paid at conclusion of the hunt.
~ Package Hunts…will be paid in full prior to commencement of safari. Additional animals taken on package hunts may be paid at the conclusion of the hunt.
~ All payments to be made in Cash, Traveler’s Checks, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.
~ Indemnity…while every precaution will be taken, KMHA will not be responsible for any illness, accident, or loss incurred during any contracted safari.
~ Medical…consult your family physician who may recommend anti-malaria tablets. No vaccinations are required for hunting in South Africa.
~ Rifle Recommendations…calibers generating bullet speeds of approximately 2400-2800 fps are best suited for African bush hunting. Ultra mags are discouraged. Perfect plains game calibers: .308 Win, .30/06, .270 Win, .338 Mag. All dangerous game hunts require a minimum caliber of .375 H&H Mag. Heavy bullets in calibers indicated are optimal.
~ Archery Requirements…based on current legal regulations. Bow/arrow combinations generating at least 65 ft lbs of KE are recommended with moderate to heavy arrows and quality broadheads.
~ Wounded Game…all wounded game will be paid for in full without exception.
~ Climate…May thru September…65 to 100 degrees F, dry not humid.
~ Clothing…light hunting attire, warm jacket, comfortable hiking boots (un-insulated), camp lounging attire. DO NOT OVERPACK!!! Laundry is done daily. Recommend two sets of hunting clothes, three pair of underwear, socks, and T shirts. If hunting is done in June or early July, we recommend very warm jacket, knit cap, and gloves.
~ Dipping, packing, and shipping of trophies to be done in SA and shipped to your receiving taxidermist. These fees are billed separately.
